File must be at least 300DPI

This is important as anything lower than 300dpi will not be detailed enough. You can check the dpi on Photoshop by selecting ‘image’, then ‘image size’. Bear in mind that when a file is exported as a png (instead of being re-saved as a png) it automatically saves at 72dpi, so be sure to ‘save as’ (not ‘export as’) when saving from Photoshop.

Artwork cropped edge-to-edge

This means that the artwork itself must have no white space around it. When an artwork isn’t cropped edge-to-edge (i.e. is surrounded by white space) the sizing of the artwork will differ from the size of the file, which creates confusion for the printers and can lead to the print on your T-shirt being incorrectly sized.

Artwork against transparent background

Artwork must be against a transparent background, if you’re unsure how to do this follow the step-by-step guide on the creator toolkit. This is always the case, even when the artwork background matches the T-shirt colour, e.g. when an artwork with a white background is being printed onto a white T-shirt.
